4 Fragrances for Fall – Makeup Wars

It’s only natural to seasonally switch up your fragrance, so for this week on Makeup Wars we’re sharing what we like for the Fall season. I tend to head for something a little more fruity in the Summer, but in the Fall I go a little more floral and maybe a little heavier. My perfume tendencies are definitely girly and they go through a rigorous testing process to land a space on my vanity for frequent use. I like the fragrance to appeal to me (obviously) but I want it to linger for as much of the day as possible, without sending me into migraine-land (which is very easy). Below are my 4 favorite fragrances for Fall – check them out then scroll to the bottom to see what the other bloggers like!

Chanel Chance ($58-$95 – Nordstrom, Sephora). When was this even released?! That’s when I bought it. This is the original Eau de Toilette and it’s just always worked for me. I get more compliments when it’s on and the scent lingers all day. It’s that fragrance that you can never be without. Thankfully, Chanel seems to like to keep their fragrances around so this hopefully won’t be discontinued any time soon.

Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede ($60-$120 – Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus). This cologne is luxurious, making me feel like I’m swimming in a billion bucks. Though it’s a cologne the scent is still light and perfect for day. Funnily enough, Elle Fowler is the one who turned me on to this. She was raving about it in one of her faves videos awhile ago so the next time I went into Nordstrom I checked it out and promptly went home with it.

Anna Sui La Nuit de Boheme ($46-$78 – Nordstrom)*. This Eau de Toilette just launched in the Summer of 2014 and is the newest fragrance in my collection. However, once I wore it I just had to include it as one of my faves. When I sprayed it in the air I thought it might be too musky but it mixes perfectly with my body chemistry. The scent is luxurious but has a flirty vibe to it – which I love for evening. Plus, how gorgeous is that bottle?!

Chloe Roses de Chloe ($70-$120 – Nordstrom, Sephora). I fell in love with this Eau de Toilette when a sample arrived with an order I’d made from Sephora. It’s a very light fragrance that I love to use during the day, though it can definitely be layered on a little more for night.

Betcha thought I was going to say Pumpkin Spice 😉
