In early September Charlotte Tilbury finally came to the US! I’d like to sit here and say no one was more excited than me, but that might not be true, because people were really excited. If you didn’t know, Charlotte Tilbury is one of the top makeup artists in the world and in high demand with celebs, divas, designers… every.dang.one. Her mantra? “EASY TO CHOOSE, EASY TO USE and ALWAYS IRRESISTIBLE.”
To start off my bombardment of posts on the brand I’m featuring the three lip products I picked up in Pillow Talk Lip Cheat, Bitch Perfect K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick and Sweet Stiletto Lip Lustre. I did go a little safe with my purchase of lip products. Only because this is a new brand for me and I was buying every thing sight unseen. Plus, the quad I bought is super bold (can you guess which one I got?!).
Pillow Talk Lip Cheat ($22.00). I picked this one up because everyone said it was the perfect shade for a lip match… a MLBB, if you will. I loved the formula on this. It was nicely pigmented and smooth.
Bitch Perfect K.I.S.S.I.N.G Fallen From the Lipstick Tree ($32.00). Honestly, I bought this for the name. Yes, I’m that mature. Turns out it really is the perfect peachy pink shade! The formula is opaque, comfortable and glossy.
Sweet Stiletto Lip Lustre ($22.00). This came home with the other two because I thought it looked as though it would pair up well with Bitch Perfect. It definitely does and I believe it’ll pair up nicely with many other colors. It was semi-opaque alone and comfortable to wear.
I was really impressed with these three lip products. While the shades aren’t anything we haven’t seen before the quality is fantastic and they’re definitely shades I’ll get wear out of. Wear time is that of any other lipstick or gloss, 4 hours and 3 hours, respectively.

I am waiting for our flagship Nordstrom’s to carry the line in store so I can shop it in person. I love the bronzer/highlighter combo I received! It’s SO pretty. This lip color combo is pretty on you and I like the name as well.

They are nice shades but I don’t think they would be something I want to spend that kind of money on. I prefer to wear punchy, bold lips.

I have to start timidly… I went all out with the quad. I want some deeper lip shades for sure after trying these.
There’s something to be said about a great color that goes with everything that just feels amazing on your lips and makes you feel amazing!
