The new Illamasqua Once Collection is not large, but it’s certainly full of gorgeous. The Vintage Metallix Eye Shadows are taking center stage with this collection with their faceted sparkle, dense pigment and longevity. Of the three shades released I have one to share with you today in Bibelot (which means a small household ornament or decorative object).
Bibelot has a creamy khaki base but is loaded with a golden sheen and slight sparkle. I like to use my fingertip to apply and one swipe gives a fantastic amount of color for your eye shadow base or you can pack on a bit more to wear it alone. I love it either way because this eyeshadow is long-wearing and also your shadows won’t crease. You must work quickly to apply or if you want to blend it into another color. Once it sets it dries into a power finish and stays. The more you layer, the more intense the shade will get, but I found that I only need to apply it once to my lid for opaque coverage.
Illamasqua Bibelot Vintage Metallix Eyeshadow retails for approx. $26.63 USD on the Illamasqua website. Unfortunately Illamasqua is no longer sold at places such as Sephora and Bloomingdale’s, so it’s a little more expensive then usual, as is the shipping.
That’s a stunning shade!

I am so sad that Illamasqua isn’t available in stores in the U.S. anymore. Their products are stunning. I just hate having to pay shipping for everything. I love this shade, and I love their Fall LE.
