Walking into a LUSH store can be as overwhelming as it is beautiful. You’ll want all the things and at the same time you won’t know where to start. Luckily the employees are always fantastic and very helpful, ready to guide you exactly where you need to go. In this post I wanted to introduce you to a few of my favorites, a few of the new items for Fall and a few of the brands best sellers.
Granny Takes a Dip ($6.95). This bath bomb is colorful and smells amazing. It’s loaded up with lemon and ginger oils as well as black pepper to create a subtle scent and soft skin.
Parsley Porridge ($6.95). I’ve said before Porridge has been my fave product from LUSH ever. I love how it smells and I love how my skin feels after using it. New to the line is Parsley Porridge so I had to try it! It doesn’t smell as fabulous as the original, but it by no means smells bad. It’s a soothing soap and perfect for every day use since it’s non-drying and contains fresh parsley, finely ground oatmeal, thyme, tea tree oil and aloe gel.
D’Fluff ($9.95). I am obsessed with this shaving cream. The featured ingredient is strawberries and it looks like pink marshmallows. It’s not going to lather like you may be used to, but I like that because it doesn’t gunk up my razor as much. My legs feel super smooth after and razor burn is a thing of the past. If your man can get past the color, I think he’d be into it too!
If snatching up the latest seaonsal items aren’t your thing then you need to check out the tried and true, best of the best that LUSH has to offer!
Ocean Salt ($21.95). This scrub can be used on the face and the body, but I love to use it to exfoliate my legs before shaving. It definitely makes a difference and keeps stubble away for an extra day (I’ll take what I can get!). Also, it’s vodka infused. So.. bonus.
Angels on Bare Skin ($13.95). This cleanser has a kaolin clay base contains lavender oil to soothe and rose absolute to calm redness. It also contains finely ground almonds and lavender flowers to gently exfoliate. My skin can be very sensitive to daily exfoliation so this is just the treat I need after a long day. It looks a little dry and bland at first, but once you mix it up with some water it cleanses like no other!
Mask of Magnaminty ($12.95). This is a face and back mask contains china clay and fresh peppermint that is for deep cleansing. When I went into the LUSH store and asked for something to lessen the appearance of blackheads this is what they recommended. I’ve been using it once a week and I’ve noticed a major improvement. It also really helped to lessen those little bumps on my forehead.
Aqua Marina ($12.95). This is used to calm sensitive skin and can be used as an all over body cleanser as well as for the face. I really thought this worked well at removing dirt and also making my skin glow. When using on your face make sure you remove any makeup first as this is more of a secondary cleanser. The smell isn’t going to be your favorite, but it does work!
Mint Julips ($9.95). I love all of the LUSH lip scrubs but Mint Julips has been my favorite above all others since I started using them. It’s got a yummy peppermint flavor and a gentle exfoliation that gets the job done. Your lips are smooth and supple after.
R & B ($22.95). This is the stuff you need to use to beat your frizz ball hair into submission. My scalp is oily but my ends are dry and this is the only hair product I’ve used that doesn’t make my hair look dirty on top. I really feel like my hair is healthier when I remember to use this at least once a week (sometimes twice if I have something going on – like an event).
What are your faves from LUSH?

I’ve only ever used bar soap from LUSH. Mostly because many of the products I was drawn to had stuff in it I know makes me react!
