MAC A Novel Romance Lipstick, Lipglass Swatches + Review

Within the core part of the MAC Cosmetics A Novel Romance Collection are six lipsticks and five lipglass. Out of those 11 products I have four to share with you today in Myself Lipstick, Hearts Aflame Lipstick, Reckless Desire Lipglass and Talk Sexy Lipglass.

• Myself Lipstick (soft shimmery nude beige, lustre) Maybe this doesn’t do it for you, but these nude shades are what I reach for the most, especially with the lustre finish. It’s moisturizing enough but no super glossy or thick looking. Also, SO EASY to apply while moving – which appears to be a constant in my life this season!
• Hearts Aflame Lipstick (midtone brick red, matte) This shade takes me back to the 90’s, which is apparently appropriate for the fashion that’s back in style. Hearts Aflame is a great staple shade for Fall.
• Reckless Desire Lipglass (sheer pearlescent lavender grey) I’ve been seeing these opalescent shades in so many collections lately. This one is more cool toned and looks fantastic over light and vampy shades.
• Talk Sexy Lipglass (dark purple) There is a slight shimmer in this one that doesn’t show up heavily on the lips, especially when layered. I love it over-top of Hearts Aflame!

I have all three of the quads to put up here as well, so look for these lip products worn as combos on those looks!
