Tatcha has already made my lips and hands happy, so it’s only natural that I’d be willing to try the face products as well! Up today is the Deep Hydration Firming Serum. What had me interested in this product the most is the fact that it’s deeply hydrating (it uses Okinawa red algae) and also has hyaluronic acid to soothe and firm skin. I am in major need of hydration in my cheek area, and at 33 I’m down for firming wherever. I’m already showing some of those eye crinkles, so being preventative with my face is necessary.
Beautiful purple packaging aside, this serum uses a pump dispenser to distribute the perfect amount of product to coat your face. I need the most moisture at my cheeks, so I begin there and then work my way around the rest of my face. After use there is no greasy or sticky feeling, just freshness. This has a light scent, but it’s clean and not at all offensive.
The subtle 23-karat gold adds shimmer to the product itself but that doesn’t noticeably transfer onto the face. Over time (about 4 or 5 weeks) I noticed an improvement in the way my makeup wore, especially in the dry areas. This is definitely a wonderful serum for my skin and I’m happy with the results it gave to my specific problem areas.
Tatcha Deep Hydration Firming Serum retails for $95.00 and is available at Tatcha.com.
