Wayyyyyy back in March Illamasqua launched a quartet of shimmering texture shades and called them Shattered Stars. Illamasqua definitely did a great job with these.. back when I bought them I couldn’t decide which two I wanted (because that was me, trying to be thrifty) so all four came home. Note: they’ve been out awhile, but I thought they were too pretty not to share and also you can still buy them!
Fire Rose is a shattered pink; Trilliant is a shattered champagne; Marquise is a shattered orange; Peruzzi is a shattered gold. Below all are swatched using two coats of polish, no top coat.
While all four are stunning Marquise is a heavy favorite for me. I’m definitely biased towards orange-reds infused with gold!

I love how buying two was being thrifty..I totally do the same thing! I go in with a budget and I get in and I’m like “ooohh shiny things..I need them all”. Everytime!! These are pretty, they don’t make me want to run out and get them though. Trilliant is the only one that I would consider picking up. Great post though!
