So you want a lipstick with glossy shine, that’s easy to apply, lots of pigment and it’s gotta actually last? Done. Too Faced has answered your cosmetic prayers with the Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick. Six shades are currently available but I shied away from the two I’d likely never wear and purchased the four I knew I’d get some use out of – Melted Nude (neutral nude), Melted Coral (creamy coral), Melted Peony (dusty rose) and Melted Ruby (blood red).
What Sephora says about Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick:
What it is:
An intensely saturated lip color with a precise tip applicator. What it does:
The shine of a gloss, lasting power of a stain, and pigment-packed color of a liquid lipstick, all in one high-impact formula. Bold, long-wearing color glides on cleanly with the precision tip applicator, delivering rich color with staying power. What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– PhthalatesWhat else you need to know:
A precision tip applicator eliminates the need for a lip liner, making this formula easier to apply.
The packaging is squeeze tube style, which is perfect for the new style applicator they’ve introduced and a great way to get every last drop of product out.
The applicator is slanted and round making it easy to apply the lipstick. When you squeeze the tube several dollops of liquid lipstick will come out and sort of bleed through the applicator. I like to dab it around my lips and then smooth it out with a gliding motion.
The formula dried semi-matte on me and had the perfect amount of shine. I did find these lipsticks a big drying but it wasn’t so much that the feeling was horrible or I thought that I needed a gloss over-top. Definitely not hydrating. The colors are so vibrant and rich, apply evenly, and they last (I got about 6-7 hours out of them)!
Have you tried the Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick yet? What do you think about the formula?
The Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick retail for $21.00 each and are available at Sephora, Ulta & TooFaced.com.
I love peony and ruby! Those are the two colors I picked up and reviewed. I love matte formulas so these were right up my ally. It’s nice to see some other colors lip swatched though!

The only color that works for me is Peony. I’ve been wearing it a lot but my lips never look as luscious as others do in it.

At first, I wasn’t sure about the ‘melted’ part – were they going to melt off of my lips? lol! Now I really want to try them!
