The OPI Brazil Nail Polish Collection has.it.all. Expressive/colorful shades, vampy shades, vibrant liquid sand polishes… If you don’t do a mani or pedi (or both!) after this post then something is wrong with you as a beauty maven (<— kidding, but seriously..).
OPI is always good for taking us on vacation and this time we’re headed to Brazil! Land of beautiful people and popular waxes! I’ve got so many faves in this collection it’s not even right. The formula was surprisingly excellent on all of these shades! I can’t think of one that I had an issue with!
Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around is a nude lilac cream. Two coats.
Next Stop… The Bikini Zone is a silvered purple shimmer with a flash of blue. The pics do not do it justice at all, this polish is gorgeous! Three coats.
Taupe-less Beach is a cool lavender cream. Two Coats.
I São Paulo Over There is a vintage purple cream. Two coats.
OPI Scores a Goal! is a chocolate toned purple cream. Two coats.
AmazON…AmazOFF is a deep teal with a hint of pearl to it. Two coats.
I Just Can’t Cope-acabana is a bright, creamy yellow. One of the few yellows I haven’t had issues with applying. The formula wasn’t perfect, but it’s the second best I’ve ever tried. Two coats.
Where Did Suzi’s Man-go? is a peachy orange cream. Two coats.
Toucan Do It If You Try is a muted coral orange cream. Two coats.
Kiss Me I’m Brazilian is a pinked salmon cream. Two coats.
Live.Love.Carnaval is a vibrant coral cream. Two coats.
Red Hot Rio is a ruby red cream. This formula was the smoothest and felt almost gel like. Two coats shows visible nail line, so if you’re not okay with that three is better..
The Beach Sandies are a quartet of liquid sand polishes in mini-size – Samba-dy Loves Purple (a vivid violet), I’m Brazil Nuts Over You (a hot coral red), What’s a Little Rain Forest? (a vibrant blue) and You’re So Flippy Floppy (a bright, sunshine yellow).
I’ve heard mixed reactions about this, but I prefer the liquid sands to be in smaller bottles. The formula isn’t something that I’d generally wear on all 10 nails on a daily basis, so the mini size is really perfect for me on these bright shades. What I don’t like about the mini bottles is that the names aren’t on them anywhere, so I have to save the box or I’ll forget what’s what. Also, on these particular colors the shades stain the nails, even with a good base coat. What’s a Little Rain Forest was the worst offender and needed worked on and buffed off for a few days.
My faves are definitely the Beach Sandies (even with the staining I love a bold textured shade), Don’t Bossa Nova Me Around, Next Stop… the Bikini Zone, I São Paulo Over There… I just realized I’m going to be naming all of these =\ I love them all. Which is impressive and also expensive.

I spent some time looking at this collection a few weeks back when I was traveling on biz and needed a break by looking at makeup and nail polish LOL. But I haven’t made a move on it yet. I like the corals, but they are similar to shades I own, but Toucan Do It If You Try is different enough that it’s a maybe.

I love that color for a summer pedi shade!
Hmmm…I think I’m going to pass on the Brazil collection, just because the shades being offered don’t really excited me. :-/
Well, ok, maybe I’ll get “OPI Scores a Goal!” — it looks like it’d be nice for Fall and Winter.
