In the interest of keeping with my “green theme” of today (well, maybe not so much as a theme since technically I only did 2 posts that were green) I decided to bust out the Laura Mercier Emerald Trio Petite Baked Eye Colour Bonbons from Holiday 2013 that I ordered because of a post I saw on Prime Beauty and also because of my love for the Bronze Trio.
The packaging is a rather petite, plastic mirrored compact that is extremely portable and easy to store.
The Emerald trio contains Aqua (a light mint shimmer with silver sparkle), Malachite (a duochrome teal) and Emerald (a deep forest green with shimmer). Very gorgeously St. Patty’s or Emerald City!
Clearly these shadows are much more intense when used wet, but I was still impressed with the pigment when I used them dry. The shades were all smooth and easy to blend. I did have a slight amount of fall-out with the deepest shade, so be aware of that and maybe do your eye makeup before you start with your face. When used over an eyeshadow primer, this trio lasted the day on my lids without fading or creasing.
These trios retailed for $25.00 each and while they’re no longer available something similar tends to come out every year.
Did you pick up any goodies from Laura Mercier holiday?

Nothing wrong with that 😉 It took me awhile to get myself into LM as well but it’s such a fabulous brand. I’m kicking myself for not getting into it sooner!
