Valentine’s Day may be just a, hopefully, wonderful memory, but the ipsy Glam Bag for February 2014 can stay with you all year long. This month they gave us pretty pinks, peaches and purples, but in shades we can use way past the holiday.
The theme for the February 2014 ipsy Glam Bag is The Look of Love.
What you see above is a pink with pink leopard interior and a white zipper. I thought it was cute and fitting for the theme without the conventional hearts. Similar to last month, this bag smelled plastic-y, though not quite as bad.
Somehow I lost the card that gives you the run down of the discounts you can get by visiting the Glam Room on ipsy.com. But, there are a ton of fabulous deals for subscribers, so if you do sub definitely check that out.
What’s inside?
From Zoya, Nail Polish. I got the shade Odette but other subscribers may have received Dot. I’m a huge fan of this nail polish brand and am so excited to see them in this months Glam Bag! Odette is from the Naturel Collection which I’ve swatched and reviewed here.
From Dr. Lin Skincare, Acne Spot Corrector. This product is perfect for small breakouts or a zit that pops up here or there. I had one on my cheek, on the most prominent part of my cheekbone, and this really reduced the size and toned down the color, making it much easier to cover up. I feel like it did heal a lot quicker than normal, so I’m pretty psyched about this product!
From City Cosmetics, Be Matte Blush. I received the shade Fresh Melon but there were 3 other shades that other subscribers may have gotten. I’m really impressed with the pigment in this blush. Upon swatching I thought it might be chalky but it applied so nicely and blended well. This shade will be perfect for Summer!
From POP Beauty, Plump Pout Mini. I received the shade Peony Petal but other subscribers might also have received Fuschia Freesia. I’ve previously swatched and reviewed both of these shades here.
From Tini Beauty, Eyetini Cordial Cream Shadow + Base In One. I got the shade Ambrosia but other subscribers may have received Spiced Rum or Violette (an ipsy exclusive!). After you give this product time to dry/set it makes a wonderful base for shadows, especially when you’re creating a sultry or smoky eye. Ambrosia is a taupe in some lights and a purple in others… it’s one of my new favorites to use for a deep eye look!
This was a fabulous month for ipsy. I adore that blush and the nail polish is one of my fave shades from Zoya. The contents of this bag was definitely worth the $10 so I am absolutely in for March.
Ipsy does profile pages now, so here is mine. There is also a pretty amazing referral program in place. You refer friends and redeem points to get a sweet little bonus in your next bag. I’ve gotten some really fab full sized products as my bonuses, but, something new, you can use your points to choose your own bonus! I cashed in back in November for a full size NYX Cosmetics Bronze Smokey Look Kit (see photos and swatches here).
This month I picked up a Nail Art Starter Kit Soooo go sign up because you’re missing out!
Here is where you can go to subscribe to ipsy for a Glam Bag.
What do you think about the February Glam Bag? Are you going to subscribe for March? I know I’m looking forward to my next bag!

I reviewed this BUT my web host decided to work on the site without telling us and my review was lost. Basically though I said the same thing as you! I love the Zoya polish. I wish I’d gotten Ambrosia in my kit but Spiced Rum since nice.

Oh no! I remember you saying that you lost a few posts =( I’m glad you at least liked your bag, though!
I got the exact same bag, and I love it! I haven’t tried all the products yet, though. I didn’t have as good of luck with the Dr. Lim treatment as you, but it did help some. That nail art kit is adorbz. I want one, too! 🙂
