It seems like Dior released a lot of nail polishes within this collection, don’t you think? Some are so flashy and others are more demure but very season appropriate creams. Blossom Le Vernis from Trianon Spring 2014 hovers in between those two descriptions with it’s jelly base and suspended gold glitter.
What Nordstrom says about the Dior Le Vernis Nail Polish:
Never before has the color of the new Dior Vernis displayed such lacquered and vibrant shine! A cocktail of Shine and Sparkle Amplifying active ingredients directs pigments and pearly particles to enhance light reflection tenfold. Once again, the array of enchanting shades created by Tyen reflect the spirit of Dior fashion shows.
Application is even easier with the new brush. Dior Vernis also features a new chip-resistant formula that protects and embellishes the nails, day after day. 0.33 oz.
One coat of Blossom lays down a sheer wash of peach with golden sparkles, while two coats just deepens the base, but never gets fully opaque. I used three coats for the swatch photos.
As for formula this was wonderful to paint on and was very smooth and even. If you’re opposed to having visible nail line, then this polish won’t be for you. If you don’t mind VNL and love a classy nail with a fun twist, you must own this polish. I also recommend layering Blossom over-top of another shade, such as Dior Bouquet (also from the Trianon Collection) or Dior Riviera.
Dior Blossom Le Vernis retails for $24.00 and is available at Nordstrom.
I absolutely love the Trianon collection, so many fantastic products. Beautiful sheer shade – very Spring like :o) Xx
