For the Spring 2014 Notes de Printemps Collection Chanel has released a limited edition shade of Poudre Universelle Compacte Natural Finish Pressed Powder in Preface.

CHANEL POUDRE UNIVERSELLE COMPACTE pressed powder covers your skin in a translucent, natural matte finish while setting your makeup or providing you with an easy touch-up. The ultrafine, lightweight formula features light-reflecting pigments and a luxurious soft feel to give you a beautiful, radiant look.
The packaging is your usual sleek black compact with the white Chanel symbol and housed in a small velvet pouch. As you open the compact up there is a full mirror on the top side.
Preface is a sheer, soft peach powder. This powder is wonderful at providing a slightly matte finish to your face and keeping shine at bay. I also found it helped to set my face makeup and kept the blush I was wearing safe from fading. The texture is light and soft, the perfect finishing touch!
The slim sponge that it comes with can be pitched. With products like this I like to get a fluffy brush to apply them. I feel like with a sponge you’d just wipe off the other makeup underneath. I personally need that makeup underneath, since Preface is just a finishing powder and isn’t meant to conceal.

Is it weird I wish this would have had some sort of fancy design etched into the powder? It’s limited edition, show me the pretty!

Does this make it look cakey on the face? 🙂 really want to know if because im in a decision problem haha stays between this chanel one and the “Guerlain -Les Voilettes Loose Powder” Not really sure which one to pick :)..! but i do like this Chanel colour more! ;(

Does it have bit of pink tone in it? Pls say yes cuz I have been wanting something in pink tones for a while now.
It’s definitely more peach. You should try a completely translucent one like NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder. It’s my go-to!
This looks gorgeous! I hope to try Chanel makeup sometime this year- I have only tried a nail polish from them!

I always love Chanel’s spring collections. I wish the product wasn’t that expensive, so that I could buy it. Moreover its so pretty!
This is such a pretty shade!!! Though I wish it being a powder, it doesn’t contain shimmer!!!
