For the Spring 2014 Notes de Printemps Collection Chanel has a lovely pink and purple (and not horribly pastel) Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eyeshadow Palette in Quadrille. Yes, it’s limited edition.
What Nordstrom says about the Chanel Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eyeshadow:
One essential compact offers unlimited eye looks, with shade combinations ranging from matte to frost to satin for multiple looks, contrasting or complementary. The versatile formula can be applied dry for subtle shadowing, or dampened for more intense color. Dermatologist tested. Organic polymer derivatives ensure smudge-proof long wear, particularly in high temperature or humidity.
Quadrille is the perfect blend of warm pink and purple for spring. This quartet has coordinating shades of mauve, ivory, browned eggplant and a peachy-pink for you to create simple and also more dramatic looks. Above I swatched these shades on my arm (sans primer) with the included sponge applicators.
This quad lasted the day (around 8 hours for me) and I found the texture of the shadows to be smooth and easy to blend into each other. I only experienced minor fall-out with the browned eggplant shade. When used dry these shades give off a decent amount of color, enough for me to use day or even at night. If you’re looking to enhance the pigment dampen your brush before use.
For the EOTD I began by priming the eye with Urban Decay Primer Potion. Using Quadrille I applied the mauve shade (top left) all over the lid, the browned eggplant shade (bottom right) in the outer V, the peachy-pink shade (bottom left) above the crease and the ivory shade (top right) to highlight and enhance the inner corners of the eyes. The liner is MAC Past Twilight Fluidline and the mascara is Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant and Too Faced Better Than Sex layered.
The Chanel Quadrille Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eyeshadow Palette retails for $59.00 and is available at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s and chanel.com.

What a beautiful palette. I wasn’t sure I was going to like that peachy-pink shadow, but I loved it on you. So pretty!
