NARS Nā Pali Coast Multiple & Puerta del Sol Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner Swatches, Review & FOTD – Spring 2014

January 15, 2014

Press Sample/Affiliate Links

My feets are freezing but luckily in the beauty world Spring is in the air!  NARS is tossing us into High Seize for 2014 with a beautiful and vibrant collection.  I have a ton of products on my wish list, but for now I’m excited to share with you Nā Pali Coast Multiple and Puerta del Sol Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner!

NARS Spring 2014 swatches reviewNā Pali Coast Multiple

NARS Napali Coast MultipleNā Pali Coast ($39.00 – Permanent) is a shimmering rose peach.  When I first opened the tube I thought it’d come off way too scary metallic for me, but it’s actually very demure once you blend it out and gives off a nice and natural flush of color.  I dabbed and blended on my cheeks lightly two times to get the amount of color in the FOTD look at the bottom of this post.  The color lasted all day long and several strangers asked what I was wearing.  A new fave!

Puerta del Sol Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner

NARS Puerta del Sol Larger Than Life Long-Wear EyelinerPuerta del Sol ($24.00 – Limited Edition) is a parrot green with shimmer.  This shade isn’t as saturated as I imagined it would be, but it’s still a beautiful color.  I don’t know if it could work alone as a top liner.  It did, however, survive on my waterline with only minor fading all day.  The shimmer didn’t bother my eyes either, which is a huge plus for me.  I wear contacts and sometimes shimmer can make my eyes water and contacts fog up.  These liners also make excellent bases for eye shadows!

The multiple looks really nice! I am not a huge green liner fan but it is pretty on the waterline! 😀

I love color, but I get timid with it sometimes.. the bottom waterline is just enough where I can show off a bit but still feel confident about it =)

[…] This is my first experience with a gel for brows.  I must say, I’m totally hooked!  I find it much easier to fill in my sparse brows as well as make them appear more symmetrical.  The formula is easy to apply and blend.  Once it sets it won’t come off until you hit it with your makeup remover.  Be sure not to get a ton of product on the angled side.  You won’t need much and you’ll want it to appear as natural as possible.  I also recommend at least spot cleaning the angled brush after every use.  The leftover product will harden otherwise and will make for a not so lovely application the next time around.  I used Too Faced Bulletproof Brows in this photo.
