I’m obsessed with Carrie Underwood. Not in a psycho way, but in a way where I love that she speaks her mind, has a wonderful and natural talent and is so dedicated to what she believes in.

This month, Nicole by OPI is introduced a 14 piece Nail Polish Collection in collaboration with Carrie Underwood full of lovely creams, shimmers and fantastic glitters.

Love My Pups is a sheer, pale pink. Those who aren’t fans of VNL (visable nail line) won’t love this particular pup, but I DO! It’s classic and makes my nails look finished. Work safe, wedding safe, classy. This is a great shade. Two coats shown.

Lips Are Dripping Honey has a clear base with a ton of small and large golden holo hex glitters. This one is such a stunner. I didn’t have to work with the glitter much to get it to coat well, making me a happy camper! One coat shown over Love My Pups (like an after work happy hour mani!).

Southern Charm is a peachy toned shade, definitely on the sheer side. The name is perfect because it has that classic “southern belle” color going for it. Some will find this matches their skin tone a little too well. Two coats looked nice, but still I found I needed a third for it to be opaque. Three coats shown.

Party Bus has a clear base with small and large silver holo hex glitter, along with a random large silver holo flower glitter. The flowers were a bit hard to get accurate, but it really wasn’t too bad, considering. I thought it made a fun man. One coat shown below over Southern Charm.

Sweet Daisy is a peachy coral. One of those shades I immediately attribute to spring. Like Southern Charm, I found this to be on the sheer side, needing three coats (shown below) for full opacity.

Carnival Cotton Candy is truly a cotton candy pink cream. After the first coat I was a little worried about the coverage but the second coat made it perfect!

Color Me Country is a vibrant salmon pinked coral cream. This will look so hot on deeper skin tones and is totally “the” color for warm weather toes! Two coats shown.

Some Hearts is Application of this one was really smooth, it just glided on! Two coats shown.

Sing You Like a Bee is a pearly white shimmer with tons of golden shimmer throughout. OMG, you guys… I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a polish so beautiful! The swatch below is two coats, three will make it fully opaque, but it looks awesome even with one. This one dries matte but I did put a top coat on for the photo. One of my new faves!

..and because I’m a glutton for punishment, I had to do some Valentine’s Day inspired nail art. I topped SYLAB with Some Hearts almost completely (as seen here on Let Them Have Polish) and then added a heart shaped dab of SYLAB around the near center-ish area haha. I actually like it better in person than on here, so I’ll definitely try it again and hopefully get better at it!

Carried Away is a 24 karat gold glitter. Another fave! It’s such a saturated and powerful golden glitter.. one of those ones you can’t stop looking at. Like SYLAB it dried matte but I did add a top coat for the photo. Two coats shown.

American as Apple Pie is a cherry red cream with a very slight hint of shimmer. This is gorgeous. Even if you have a red cream in your stash that you love, you still need this one. One coat shown.

Goodbye Shoes is a dusty greyed blue cream and also super close to being the new love of my life. The formula was fabulous and the color is a personal fave of mine. Two coats shown.

Backstage Pass has an blackened eggplant purple base with copper and magenta shimmer. It almost appears browned. So beautiful! Two coats shown.

Fisher Queen is a deep purple metallic with slight purple & fuchsia shimmers. Two coats shown.

My faves from this collection are Love My Pups, Lips Are Dripping Honey, Some Hearts, Carried Away, American as Apple Pie, Backstage Pass and Goodbye Shoes.

Nicole by OPI Carrie Underwood will be available January 2014 for $7.99 each at retailers including select CVS, Duane Reade, HEB, Kroger, Kmart, Ulta, Walmart, Fred Meyer, Meijer, and Harmon locations. In Canada, these shades will be available for $10.99 each at Shoppers Drug Mart, Target Canada, Walmart Canada, Jean Coutu, London Drug, and Loblaws.
