I totally bought this for the lips. How fun is the case for this kit? It reminds me of the 80’s phones that were the lips. I never had one (too young in the 80’s for my own phone, I guess *sad*) but DJ Tanner had one on Full House so I lived vicariously through her.

In any event, as part of the Guy Bourdin Holiday 2013 Collection NARS has released the fabulous Fling Lip Kit – filled with perfect shades and a reusable lip container (for those of us that still want to be DJ Tanner. Stop judging me).

This kit contains four lip products – Dolce Vita Velvet Matte Lip Pencil (mini), Baroque Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil (mini), Damage Lipstick (full size) and Roman Holiday Lipstick (full size). These four lip products will be flattering on just about everyone and are quite moisturizing (don’t let the words velvet and matte fool you!). If you’re a fan of NARS lip products, you absolutely need this kit. All of these shades are available full sized as part of the permanent range of NARS Cosmetics, but to buy all of them separately would cost double what this kit does.

The NARS Guy Bourdin Fling Lip Kit retails for $49.00 and is limited edition. I purchased mine at Nordstrom, but after surfing around the interwebs a bit I’ve found it’s currently unavailable online. However, you could go to your local NARS retailer (a boutique or department store counter) and check in store. Call ahead so if it’s in stock they can hold it while you drive over!
