We’re heavy into Fall and it’s time to make sure you’re ready for those cool weather adventures! The November 2013 Beauty Box 5 is here to help prep by making sure you’re cleansed, moisturized and glitzy!
The items in this month’s box are perfect for a little bit of pampering in and out of the shower, as well as keeping moisturized and sparkly out of the house.
From Aveeno, the Positively Nourishing Calming Body Wash. This smells so amazing. I’m not even a big fan of lavender, but it must be the mix it makes with the chamomile and ylang-ylang… because it’s to die for. This is something I would have never picked up in store, but that I’ll absolutely be buying a full size of now. Just fragrant enough and is truly relaxing.
From Montagne Jeunesse, the Glacial Cooling Face Mask. I love a mud mask. It’s heaven to soak in a hot tub with one of these on your face and doze. It’s so hard to get any sort of “me” time in this house that I definitely have to maximize it when I get it. This mask is to be left on for 10-15 minutes, which is perfect timing since that’s about how long it takes for the bath water to cool down.
From Bellapierre Cosmetics, the Shimmer Powder in Champagne. And boy, does it ever shimmer. This is an eye shadow designed to be luminous and long-wearing. To the far left of the swatch pic below I swatched this shadow wet and to the right it’s blended out dry. Not too much of a difference, but for reasons of control I do recommend using this product wet. It’s way too much shimmer for me to ever use, but if you’re into that, you’re going to be pleased.
From Secret, the Clinical Strength Antiperspirant & Deodorant. This is a full size product that goes on dry (which I love) and battles sweat caused by stress, heat and activities. I’ve used this before (it was in another box and I can’t think of which one) and I love it, so I’m happy to have a back up. There is also an included manufacturers coupon to get another one for FREE!
From Body Drench, Lip Drench in Raspberry. This is a moisturizing lip balm and I’m in love with it. It’s not thick, but it doesn’t immediately soak in either. This balm sits lightly on the lips and you can actually tell that it’s moisturizing your lips. Perfect to keep in your pocket for dry, winter lip emergencies.

I thought this box was a great mix of makeup, skin and body care. Based off of this box it’s clear that the service is worth the $12.00 price tag. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s in store for December!
