When the Dior Holiday Collection released last year I didn’t purchase any of the nail polishes, which, of course, I regretted. This year, after seeing a few swatches of the Golden Winter Holiday 2013 Collection hit the internet, I was determined to make one of the three mine. The other two, Frimas and Marilyn were beautiful, but way too similar to ones that I already had. Minuit might be similar as well, but this isn’t a shade that I’ve ever been able to resist. Plus the packaging is festive, and I’m a sucker like that!
What Nordstrom says about the Dior Diorific Vernis Nail Lacquer:
To complement the Rouge Diorific Lipsticks are three limited-edition Diorific Vernis nail lacquers in Ruby Red, Sparkling Plum and Soft Shimmering Mauve. The vibrant, high-shine nail lacquers are encased in precious glass bottles accented with gold toppers and leave your nails perfectly polished.

Minuit is a deep raisin shade loaded with copper shimmer, some of which are saturated into the raisin shade making them appear almost cranberry while others still shine through as copper. Like a fireball.
The Dior Le Vernis brush is normally tapered, and also my favorite brush of every polish out there. The brushes on the Golden Winter Nail Polishes are not tapered, but rather just your standard brush. That was disappointing, but didn’t really affect the application, which was smooth and rich. Minuit was fully opaque in two coats.
The Dior Diorific Vernis Nail Lacquer retails for $26.00 and can be purchased at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Sephora, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Ave, Macy’s and dior.com.
Minuit is so stunning! *-* Love how gorgeous it looks on your nails Brooke! 🙂
I still have yet to try mine but I think – if I don’t change my mind again – I will wear it next. 😀
