With the Holiday 2013 Bobbi Brown Collection Old Hollywood (LOVING the theme!) comes four nail polish shades in Siren Red, Tuxedo Black, Solid Gold and today’s post of Chrome (aka the showstopper!).

Chrome is a glitter holo with a clear base that ends up looking like a sheer gold because of the sparse speckling of flat, mini gold glitter. This holo sparkles so brightly that it stopped me in my tracks as I was racing through Nordstrom. One thumb swatch later and I was a goner. This polish paints on evenly and smoothly, without the fight that most glitters have.
Below is one coat of Chrome, I image you’d get decent coverage with three if you want to use it alone. It’ll top well over any of the other three shades in this collection. In the swatches above I placed it over OPI Miss You-niverse.

This isn’t something I would have expected from Bobbi Brown but I adore that they went there. It is gorgeous!
