As much as I loathe seeing Christmas decorations already in stores the holiday beauty launches always have me salivating. With the MAC Holiday 2013 Collection Stroke of Midnight, three Eye Kits were released in Gold, Violet and today’s post of Nude.
I chose Nude because it was the only kit that had a new Fluidline and a new Pro Longwear Paint Pot within the set. The other two had either permanent or repromoted items, that, while lovely, are already in my stash.

It’s safe to say I’m obsessed with this kit. All of the items I’ve been using daily for the last week as a go-to eye look, with and without an added shadow on top. The paint pot is smooth and creamy, making an excellent and sturdy base for shadows. The liner glides on easily and precisely with the included brush, lasting the day in a matte finish. The mascara adds impressive volume without clumping and the brush was easy to work with.
As for the bag it would make a nice little clutch if you have a little holiday party to attend and the black, white and gold theme makes it easy to match up with a multitude of outfit choices.
The value of this kit is incredible when you break it down (for instance just the Fluidline is $16.00 and a Pro Longwear Paint Pot will run you $20.00… right there you’re at $36.00), and if you are into the included shades that makes it an absolute must have.
Below I’ve used everything within this kit in my eye look and applied it with the brush that was included.

Is that swatch of the paint pot? It looks like a faded terra cotta in the swatch but applies so much lighter on your eye! Awesome kit and love that bag!
Yes, it’s a thicker swatch of the paint pot, blended out it’s much more flesh-toned
