Ruby Wing has six sultry yet fun Fall nail polish shades for their 2013 collection Cupcakes & Champagne! In addition to the two featured today, Cinnamon Bun and Rose, four others are also available in Sweet Cream, Doux, Chocolate Mousse and Strawberry Shortcake. These polishes are not only color changing, but scented too!
Cinnamon Bun actually smells like cinnamon! The indoor shade is a duo-tone copper and pinked burgundy (almost looking rose gold!) while the shade that shows up in the sunlight is a deep purple with copper shimmers. The first coat is very thin and even with three coats it’ll seem sheer. However, it doesn’t let the nail line show too badly, and when it changes out in the sunlight it’s not sheer at all.

Rose definitely smells very strongly of roses. Way too strong… IMO, and I’m a fan of the rose smell you get from the Chanel JC blushes. The color, however, is to die for! Indoors the base is sheer with holo glitters, in the sun it changes to a raspberry jelly but still keeps the holo glitter. I only applied one coat below, but you can thicken the raspberry base by painting it over-top of another color or just adding another coat or two.
