This RocksBox shipment was a bit out of the norm, in that it had two pairs of earrings rather than three completely different pieces. I do love earrings, so if I’m going to get a double that’s a good item for it to be!
From Trina Turk, the Free Form Circle Earrings in Orange. At first glance I was all wtf over these… not really my style, but I did like them on. While I didn’t keep them I do like getting items that are a bit out of my norm to experiment with my style. The retail price of this item is $85.00 and the member price is $68.00.
From Angel Court, the Charlie Eweill Necklace in Orange. I love love love this. It’s the perfect length and so romantically antique looking. It has some small blue stones and a larger orange stone. I actually may have kept this if I’d gotten it over the Summer, or if the center stone would have been a different shade. It’s a little more expensive, but I know I would get a lot of wear out of it. The retail price of this item is $165.00 and the member price is $132.00.
From Urban Gem, the Falling Leaf Earrings in Gold. These are very thin and delicate, and I very much liked them. However, I know I’d never wear them. I’m not a huge gold fan and I rarely wear things that dangle this much. The price is definitely right, but I’d have been more apt to keep them if they were silver or rose gold. The retail price of this item is $35.00 and the member price is $28.00.
My style is constantly changing and evolving. I love the idea of getting new jewelry any time I want it and not keeping pieces I’ve grown away from. We all have those pieces that just sit in our jewelry box… forgotten. =(
