For countless months in a row the ipsy Glam Bag remains consistently well worth the $10 and then some. There isn’t a service out there that can compete in value.
The theme for the October 2013 ipsy Glam Bag is The Art of Beauty.
What you see above is a white makeup bag with pink trim and lettering which reads “Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art”. This is probably my favorite bag to date. I love the quote but I know for a makeup bag that white is going to get dirty fast.
The card is basically there to give you the run down of the discounts you can get by visiting the Glam Room on ipsy.com. As usual, there are a ton of deals!
What’s inside?
First, from Zoya, the nail polish in Neve. Neve was a part of the Fall 2013 Satins Collection. It’s a beautiful sapphire blue that is fully opaque in two coats. Full review here.
From Sexy Hair, the Spray Clay. This spray is perfect for when you do beachy waves and want a good hold. For waves my hair tends to start to droop but with the Spray Clay it lasts much longer throughout the day.
From Bella Terra, the Mineral Shimmer in Emotion. I’m usually not super impressed with mineral shadows, but this one is a gorgeous shade and has great pigment. Huge downfall, it’s next to impossible to get the powder out of the sifter. Good for not spilling, bad for when you want to use.
From Nourish Organic, the Deeply Nourishing Coconut & Argan Body Lotion. The smell is nice at first but when it dries down it’s slightly funky. Not too bad. It soaks well into the skin and doesn’t feel oily.
From Coastal Scents, the Medium Shadow Brush. I’m all about receiving makeup brushes in my Glam Bag. I can never have enough brushes like this one. It’s got the shape of a MAC 239 but isn’t as firm.
Definitely worth the $10 and then some. I am absolutely in for November since the value from ipsy remains fabulous and keeps getting better and better!
Ipsy does profile pages now, so here is mine. And now they finally are offering a referral program, basically refer friends and redeem points to get a sweet little bonus in your next bag (mine so far have been nail polishes from Nicole by OPI & Lime Crime and an eye shadow from Urban Decay, all full sized!). Soooo go sign up because you’re missing out!
Here is where you can go to subscribe to ipsy for a Glam Bag.
What do you think about the October Glam Bag? Are you going to subscribe for November? I know I’m looking forward to my next bag!

I’m very happy with IPSY this month. Mine was slightly different but I got that fabulous Zoya polish. I also think the makeup bag itself is adorable.

Tempted to sign up. Really tempted. My problem is, I want all of the bags and boxes and can’t decide which one/s to choose. LOL
