For the seventh year in a row, OPI has released their limited edition Pink of Hearts set which includes two shades of lacquer – Pink-ing of You & More than a Glimmer – as well as some decals to create your own nail art.
This pack is designed to raise funds and awareness towards breast cancer research and support. “In 2013, OPI will donate $25,000 in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October) to Susan G. Komen®. OPI will also donate $5,000 to Rethink Breast Cancer in Canada.”
Pinking of You is similar to I Think in Pink from the 2012 Pink of Hearts release, but it’s just a tad darker in color and not as milky seeming. The formula is basically the same in that it runs sheer and needed three coats for full opacity. I’m loving it because it’s such a wearable shade, and, of course, supports a great cause.
More than a Glimmer is a confetti party in a bottle. It contains micro and macro matte hex glitters in a rainbow of shades and silver (no top coat necessary). On the ring finger below is three coats.
For more information on this set, please see the Official Press Release.
Pink-ing of You and More than a Glimmer feature OPI’s exclusive ProWide™ Brush for the ultimate in application. Pink of Hearts 2013 will be available September and October 2013 at Professional Salons, including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, jcp Salons, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, ULTA and ulta.com for $15.95 ($19.95 CAN) suggested retail.
