Since Summer began I’ve been obsessing over all that is rose gold.  Jewelry, handbags, makeup… you name it.  But I’ve yet to find a nail polish that is that perfect shade of rose gold that actually wears well and shines bright.  Until now.

Marc Jacobs Beauty Enamored Hi-Shine Nail Lacquer in Gatsby is exactly the shade that I had envisioned.

IMG_6533 IMG_6536 IMG_6999Gatsby is described as a metallic champagne pink.  To me, it’s a gorgeous rose gold with a metal finish.  Above I swatched it with two coats, but really it was opaque in one.
I really wish I could’ve gotten better pics of this shade.  It’s such a luxe rosy shade of gold, managing to look like an expensive metal on your fingertips.  Gatsby painted on well with minimal streaking and no chipping or tip wear, even after 5 days.  For me that’s impressive, especially in a polish with this type of finish.

Be careful while painting this one on… it dries the second it hits your skin so clean up might take a little more effort.
