I’ve been really into curling my hair lately. I used to have a lot of issues getting my hair to curl, let alone hold that curl for more than 20 seconds.
Some curling irons work better than others. Lately the ones I’ve had the best and most lasting curls from are the clipless ones and then the Infiniti Pro by Conair Auto-Rotating Curling Iron.
But now, there’s something new. And it takes curling your hair to a whole new level. The Infinity Pro by Conair Curl Secret will give gorgeous shine & shape to your hair by adding volume and amazing curls. There are three timer settings for different curling effects (read: size) and also two heat settings (low & high).
What Ulta says about the Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret:
-
Tourmaline Ceramic 3/4 inch built-in barrel and curl chamber
-
2 heat settings – 400 F high heat
-
Ready timer and auto beep indicator – 8, 10, 12 seconds
-
Safety tangle feature
-
30 second instant heat
-
Sleep mode function
-
Auto off
-
6′ professional swivel cord
This is an idiot proof device. You literally do not have to think at all. As you can see above, it actually tells you where and how to position the barrel. You stick a section of hair in (if you stick in too much it’ll beep and let you know, so you can correct it), close the device and it’ll wrap up the section. Hold until you hear a rapid beep, open the device… behold your curls.
I did a Instagram video on this as well as posted a pic, if you’re interested in seeing the Curl Secret in action.
^^^^I obviously was having way too much fun with editing.
The curls stayed bouncy and natural all day with only a slight dusting of hairspray after I finished. I separated my hair into 6 sections and was able to curl my whole head in 15 minutes.
Now. One problem I ran into, and you’re going to want to pay attention. If a stray hair from another section gets caught into the device while you’re winding in the hair for curl… it will get caught. DO NOT PANIC. I panicked the first time and ended up with cold sweats and a big knot. I learned to just unplug the device and it comes free. I repeat – unplug the device. Disclaimer – I’m no electrician and I don’t know how safe it is to just unplug that… just saying that’s what I did.
That one warning aside, want to know how much I love this? This post may be marked as a press sample, but this was actually a sample that I had to send back after I tested and played around with it. The day I sent it back, I also drove to Ulta and bought one. As many curling irons and gadgets as I have, I simply can’t live without this.
The Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret retails for $99.99 and is available at Ulta as well as other mass drugstores (like Target) beginning in September. Visit the Curl Secret website for more information.
