I put off writing this one because I’m kind of disappointed. This is week 7 of NutriSystem and I have no loss to report. No gain, either… which is good. I’d rather maintain than gain!!!
Why? I don’t know, really. I went to a picnic type of reception this past weekend and did well… sticking to chicken, fruits and veggies. Only drinking water. I did bite on some cake (not the icing) because it was red velvet and who says no to red velvet? (Incidentally, Nutrisystem has a Red Velvet Whoopie Pie for dessert that is so good you could drown in it).
Anyway, I posted the picture above because the girl standing with me in the pic is a huge motivator. If you’ve been around this blog for a few years you may recognize Liz from a few FOTD posts. Well Liz has lost a lot (I’m unsure of the exact amount, but A LOT) of weight by eating right and working out. Kicking butt, really. She continues to run and eat well even to this day and she’s very inspiring to me.
