Just in case the incredible Chanel Fall 2013 Superstition Collection wasn’t enough for you, the release of Jeux de Regards should satisfy you… at least until Holiday rolls around 😉
Perhaps my favorite parts of any Chanel collection are the eye products. In particular, the Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow palettes. Jeux de Regards just happens to have two – Fascination and today’s post of Seduction.
What Nordstrom says about the Chanel Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow:
One essential compact offers unlimited eye looks, with shade combinations ranging from matte to frost to satin for multiple looks, contrasting or complementary. Apply dry for subtle shadowing. Slightly moistened applicator gives a more intense shade. Organic polymer derivatives ensure smudge-proof long wear, particularly in high temperature or humidity.
I almost didn’t order Seduction. Obviously it’s beautiful, the colors appeal to me… but it’s definitely not unique. Before I hit the final submit order button my inner shopaholic got the better of me and I’m so happy I let that happen.
Sure, I still think Seduction is easily dupe-able… but you couldn’t pry this quad out of my cold, dead hands. I’m in love with the eye look below, and it’s likely going to be a go-to staple look for me this Fall. Which means, I’ll definitely be getting the use out of this that I need to justify the price.
I found the shadows to all be luxe and pigmented (they are swatched above dry and with no primer). When used with an eye primer, they wore well and lasted the day without creasing.
For this EOTD I primed the lid with Urban Decay Primer Potion. The deep brown shade is all over the lid with the burgundy shade in the crease and blended up. The peachy shade is above the crease color and the ivory shade was used to highlight. The liner is Marc Jacobs Ro(cocoa) and the mascara is Too Faced Better Than Sex and Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant layered.
The Chanel Seduction Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow retails for $59.00 and is available at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Ave and chanel.com. Seduction is listed as limited edition.
