It seems like everyone has come out with a wet to dry shadow these days, but rarely do we see one that will stay and hold like the new Dior Diorshow Fusion Mono Eyeshadow. Of the shades released, I chose Cosmos, because I’ve been into that navy, smoky thing lately.
What Nordstrom says about the Dior Diorshow Fusion Mono Eyeshadow:
Dior’s Diorshow Fusion Mono Eyeshadow creates multidimensional, light-reflecting eyes in a single step. Its mousse-gel texture blends easily with the fingertips or the enclosed applicator. The eyeshadow illuminates the eye with a metallic finish and is available in eight iridescent shades.
Cosmos is a blackened navy with silver shimmer. This shade is sheer at first, but definitely buildable. It’s much more pigmented when used wet, but still works as an excellent tinted primer when dry. The Fusion Mono formula feels wet to the touch but will settle as a powder. It feels dewy and lovely, gliding easily on the eye.
Even though this product does include a small applicator, I’ve found it’s easiest to apply this shadow using my fingertips. Fun tip – mix the shades on your finger to create your own shade! Cosmos looks awesome with Millennium!
Below on the EOTD I wore Dior Cosmos Fusion Mono Eyeshadow dry as a base over 2 shades from the Urban Decay Naked Palette (Sidecar & Sin). It worked well as a base with only very slight creasing by the end of the day. I don’t believe that Cosmos really changed the color of the shadows, but at least it held. For the drama of the shade you definitely need to use it wet.
The Dior Diorshow Fusion Mono Eyeshadow retails for $30.00 and is available at Nordstrom, Sephora, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Ave and dior.com.
