Within the Fall 2013 Superstition Collection we’re greeted with a new blush formula from Chanel – the Le Blush Creme de Chanel. Six shades are available in Presage, Inspiration, Revelation, Fantastic, Affinite and today’s post of Destiny.
What Nordstrom says about Chanel Le Blush Creme de Chanel:
An innovative powder-cream formula offers an enticing new way to blush with sheer yet vibrant pigments for instant luminosity. The silky texture offers a long-wear satin finish—soft and comfortable for every skin type—and is simple to apply with fingertips or brush.
Destiny (golden beige) is a lovely and light bronze, which blends beautifully into the skin. I only needed one pass to get the perfect pigment for my skin tone (MAC NW20-25), but you can definitely layer to achieve a deeper color. Regardless of the amount you use, the blush does not fade throughout at least 8 hours of wear (which is how long I had it on for).
The formula is a cream, but it applied more like a powder… but blended with more ease. It’s so hard to describe, because it’s much more seamless than any other cream-to-powder product I’ve ever tried. It’s really been difficult for me not to pick up a few more of these!
Chanel Le Blush Creme de Chanel retails for $38.00 and can be purchased at Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Ave, Macy’s and chanel.com.
The texture sounds so lovely, I bet I’d like it. I am a sucker for cream blushes. 🙂
Great review! Do you think this shade works as a contour colour for someone with light skin?
Yes, it doesn’t have shimmer so it’d be fine if you use it lightly.
Hey Brooke, Destiny is the shade out of the 6 that I am the least interested in, but I’m sure it’s actually very natural and flattering on! Maybe I should finally swatch it today and see how I feel!
Sunny recently posted..Enjoy the Sun with Clinique!
It looks a lot better on for sure!
