I’ve never in my life had anything more for my teeth than a good ol’ plastic toothbrush with the bristles. I’m not completely daft, I know what an battery operated toothbrush is and I’d seen them, but I always thought something like that was way too expensive to invest in when I’ve never had a cavity anyway. Still, it never stopped me from browsing at Bed, Bath & Beyond when I’d walk down the aisles.
The Philips Sonicare PowerUp Toothbrush is a great choice for me because the price is more than right, it’s battery powered and claims to give you one months worth of brush strokes in one day.
At first use I was a little taken aback. This is a powerful little instrument! After I was done my teeth felt “squeaky” clean – much like when you walk out of a dentists office. My teeth are shiny and stuff. Dare I say…pretty!
I noticed after 7 days that my mouth felt cleaner overall throughout the day. I brush morning and night, but usually by evening I feel like my teeth are ready for a good cleaning. With the Sonicare PowerUp Toothbrush, my teeth felt amazing still… even at the end of a long day. I have never used a manual toothbrush where I could say the same thing.
Is it sad to say that I now use my old manual toothbrush as a threat to keep my kids in line? They’re now aware that if they misbehave they’ll be cleaning floors with my old toothbrush. Whether or not I enforce that… it works… 😉
Be sure to check out more photos on Google+ and Instagram! Also be sure to go to the Philips Sonicare Facebook Page and watch the Odyssey of the Manual Toothbrush video, it cracked me up watching the caveman brush with a stick =P
Now, the Giveaway!!!! Wanna win your own super-clean mouth? Good, because if you’re US based you can enter to win your very own Philips Sonicare PowerUp Toothbrush!
