For this Fall, OPI is taking us to San Francisco! I’ve never been, but have been dying to visit. All this collection does is make my travel lemmings that much stronger! I want to visit all of the places that inspired these beautiful nail polish shades!
A-Piers to be Tan is a chocolately tan cream. This shade is pretty but it’ll be hard for certain skin tones to pull off. This polish coated on easily and was opaque in one coat!
I Knead Sour-Dough is described as a warm brown but it’s definitely leaning more toward a warm mauve-raisin metallic shimmer. I love this, it’s always been a favorite shade for fall. Below is two coats.
Embarca-Dare Ya is a metallic magenta. The shimmer makes this shade beautiful to me and it was opaque in two coats!
Muir Muir on the Wall is described as a plum. It’s really an eggplant shade with copper and pink shimmers that very literally made me drool. It appears duochome in the bottle but not on the nail. I needed three coats for full, even coverage.
Haven’t the Foggiest is a foil metallic silver. It’s got a great shine to it and truly looks like a piece of foil on your nails. Two coats were used below.
Peace & Love & OPI is described as a holographic in the release, but it’s definitely a duochrome with shimmer. It’s like a green, grey purple… very intricate and very pretty! I needed three coats for full and even opacity.
Lost on Lombard is a blood red that applies smoothly and is opaque in one thick coat.
First Date at the Golden Gate is a warm ruby red. The formula on this one was smooth and nearly covered completely in one coat, but I used two below to get it even.
In the Cable Car-Pool Lane is a deep plummy burgundy cream. This is classy vamp and lovely to look at. Two coats were used below.
Dining Al Frisco is an icy metallic blue. Application is a little streaky, but the formula is really nice. I actually expected this to be sheer, but it was opaque in one coat.
Keeping Suzi at Bay is a cobalt blue cream. Looking at this shade makes me feel calm.. especially since I only needed two coats to make it perfect!
Incognito in Sausalito is an inky deep midnight blue. This applied well without bleeding and was completely opaque in two coats.
It’s All San Andreas’s Fault is a seriously gorgeous deep taupe in the Liquid Sand formula. It applies really well and looks amazing. Two medium coats are shown below, but you could get away with one thick coat.
Alcatraz… Rocks! … and as a nail polish it truly does. It’s got a deep purple base with fine gold and holo shimmers in the Liquid Sand formula. As the polish dries down the holo sort of sinks in, but you can still see it. I’ll allow you time to breathe before you continue on with the rest of this post. Two coats are shown below.
Wharf! Wharf! Wharf! is a strong matte navy in the Liquid Sand formula. It applied evenly and easily, covering the nail completely in 2 coats.
My personal faves from this collection are I Knead Sour-Dough, Muir Muir on the Wall, Peace & Love & OPI, Lost on Lombard, First Date at the Golden Gate, It’s All San Andreas’s Fault and Alcatraz Rocks.

What an interesting selection of shades. None of them jump out at me, but definitely unique options
what for finish has incognito in sauselito? I cant really see it in the picture
I’d say cream, but it does look rather matte in the picture doesn’t it?
