Josie Maran Argan Love Your Lips Hydrating Lipstick just might be one of the most interesting lippies I’ve seen this year. I’m all about finding the perfect color while keeping my lips hydrated and lip lines far, far away… so of course I’ll give this one a go!

Spirited Red is that perfect “I just had a cherry Popsicle” yummy lip look that most of us lust after. The formula is so smooth and moisturizing, and the color tint is perfect! I just love how this feels on my lips.

My only gripe is that it’s a little difficult to apply. With this lipstick, and the darker tints like Spirited Red, you have to apply carefully… if you go on applying like you would a regular lipstick, the color won’t coat to the outer edge of the lips. Clearly you want to fill that in so you don’t look foolish, so you have to maneuver the tube correctly in order to get it looking good. I would totally buy this product again, but probably in a lighter shade that would be more forgiving on application “oopses”.
