New for Fall 2013 Urban Decay launched 22 shades of Revolution Lipstick – a new line that includes Maxi-Lip™ in its formula, which is said to define and hydrate lips while making them look plumper and fuller.
I have three of the 22 shades to share with you today in Bang, Liar and Manic.
What Sephora says about Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick:
What it is:
A luxury lipstick that delivers intense color payoff plus creamy shine. What it does:
Revolution Lipstick is rich, buttery lipstick at its best—with the signature Urban Decay pigment-rich color you crave. Addictive to apply (and even more addictive to wear), Revolution Lipstick glides on without dragging or skipping and hugs every curve. Just one swipe gives you a big, gorgeous lay down of color. And with shades that range from gorgeous nudes to bold brights, there’s something for everyone. What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– PhthalatesWhat else you need to know:
Urban Decay’s Pigment Dispersion System™ gives Revolution Lipstick its super creamy texture, intense pigmentation, superior color dispersion, and extended wear. Maxi-Lip™ defines and hydrates lips while making them look plumper and fuller. And a nourishing blend of jojoba oil, avocado oil, cocoa butter and shea butter keeps lips super moisturized and cushiony soft. The luxe, custom-designed gunmetal tube (lined in Urban Decay’s signature dark purple) looks so gorgeous, you’ll want to keep pulling it out of your bag.
This formula is ridiculously creamy and saturated, practically perfect in one pass. Even the pigment in the lighter shades is intense! They may appear thick, but they don’t feel heavy at all and the darker shades leave behind a slight stain. These wear a bit longer than a normal lipstick (sans eating and drinking) but definitely aren’t an “all-day” sort of deal. The lipsticks are full coverage, comfortable to wear and flattering.
The cases are a shiny gunmetal stamped with UD on the top and Urban Decay on the side. I love how sleek and edgy these look without appearing cheap.
Bang – bright orange-red
Have you picked these up yet? Which are your faves? I definitely have many more on my list, I am totally digging this formula!
Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick retails for $22.00 and can be purchased at Sephora, Ulta and urbandecay.com.

It should say “in its formula”, not “in it’s formula”. Sorry, but that’s the first thing that I noticed when I started reading this.
