Le Métier de Beauté is well known for high quality and top-performing products across the board. In the case of the Noir Dualistic Eye Pencil, I just can’t say I’m a fan (and you know I love me the Champagne shade… so much so that I keep a back-up in my drawer at all times!).
What Neiman Marcus says about the Le Métier de Beauté Dualistic Eye Pencil:
- Whether it’s a defined line or a subtle smudged sultry look, this velvety-soft formula delivers rich pigmented colour and allows easy application for versatile, sophisticated looks.
-
Velvety-soft and rich colour.
-
Precise application.
-
No tugging, blends easily.
-
All day wear.
Noir is an intense shade of black. It’s smooth and applies gracefully. It feels and looks amazing. For about 5 minutes. I had severe migration issues with this one, which was surprising because I don’t with any of the other shades. It does okay on the top lid if you set with a shadow, but other than that I was looking very “Derelicte” (Zoolander reference).
For the money, I’d say nope on this one. If you want an LMdB eye liner go for one of the other shades, because they’re amazing. If you need a deeply saturated black pencil liner definitely head to either Make Up For Ever 0L Aqua Eyes or Urban Decay 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion so you won’t need to worry about checking your face.
The Le Métier de Beauté Dualistic Eye Pencil retails for $36.00 and can be purchased at Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Bergdorf Goodman and Bloomingdale’s.
