My interest in the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow in Suede started when I saw the Bobbi Brown artist do up my friends eyes using this as a base. I haven’t been able to get it out of my mind since then! I purchased this along with the coordinating palette within the Navy & Nude Collection.
What Nordstrom says about Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow:
This cream eyeshadow stays on and doesn’t crease, plus it maintains its true color. Soft-blending formula goes on comfortably and has a soft, velvety finish.
How to use: For a polished, professional look, apply on clean lids (no powder shadow underneath) with the Cream Shadow Brush. Using short, sweeping brush strokes, layer color on lids for desired effect. For a more sheer effect, use fingertips to blend.

Suede (creamy, tan brown) is a love because it’s similar to MAC Groundwork Paint Pot (of which I adore) but I can actually use it for a base with no secondary primer and it lasts all day long. Very smooth and creamy, wonderful and easy to apply!
My only downside is that it’s hard to comfortably get your finger in the pot to pick up the product. I like to smooth these shades on as bases and leave them rather sheer so I don’t use a brush (sometimes brushes are easier, sometimes not…. in this instance I personally would just rather use my finger) and it was awkward to get the product I needed.
Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow retails for $24-00-$25.00 and is available at Sephora, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Macy’s or online at BobbiBrown.com.
