Benefit Matthew Williamson – The Rich Is Back! just may be the hottest retro set I’ve seen this season. It’s loaded up with everything you need to look hautely disco, yet modern.
What Sephora says about Benefit Matthew Williamson – The Rich Is Back!:
What it is:
A disco-inspired collection based on Matthew Williamson’s designs. What it does:
Dress up your look with flashy eyes, a foxy flush, and ruby lips. Benefit’s collaboration with leading British fashion designer Matthew Williamson rolls you back to the glamorous days of disco with rich, seductive shades inspired by his vibrant prints. Don’t miss this limited-edition fashion-forward kit that goes retro to deliver modern decadence. This set contains:
– 0.14oz They’re Real Mascara
– 0.22 oz Lip Gloss in Inferno
– 0.07 oz Gimme Fever Cheek Powder
– 4 x 0.03 oz Eyeshadow Palette in Solid Gold, Get Down Brown, Disco Dust, Feel So TealWhat else you need to know:
“This is high-octane glam makeup for dressing up to look fabulous and dance the night away!” —Matthew Williamson, Fashion Designer
Matthew Williamson – The Rich Is Back! contains four shadows (a tan, a chocolate bronzy brown, a deep teal and a pearly ivory), a gloss (in a maraschino cherry shade) and a shimmery peachy blush.
The shadows are pigmented and smooth, so easy to apply and blend. The gloss isn’t sticky at all and isn’t overly vibrant, so it works well with the shadows, as does the blush – which is understated. I was actually a little worried the blush wouldn’t show up on me, but it looks lovely and not overly “disco ball”-like (see below). I also am a fan of the mascara, which I’ve previously reviewed here.
The value of this kit is incredible. You’re getting high quality products that wear well and last for $34.00. This travels well so it’s perfect for your Summer vacation or weekend getaway.
I’m a little obsessed with the eye shadows so I had to share three photos with you of the look I created. The shadows and mascara are from this set and the liner is NYX Kohl Kajal Brown Liner.
This entire collection was used below on eyes, cheeks and lips.
Benefit Matthew Williamson – The Rich Is Back! retails for $34.00 and is available at Sephora, Ulta and Benefitcosmetics.com. This kit is limited edition.

I’ve been crushing on this for a while now but I told myself I had too many of these shades but having them all in one palette with the gloss and all…..Why do you have to look so gorgeous in this?!
