Rarely do I venture into the world of hand-made nail lacquers. I’m just normally not wowed and they always seem dupe-able or over-hyped. But, when I saw Laters, Baby on Pinterest I knew I needed it. Clicking through I was taken to the etsy shop Literary Lacquers where I also chose What Fools These Mortals Be and More Like Fire Than Light.
More Like Fire Than Light is an orange holo (major holo!) inspired by Delta of Venus by Anais Nin. Three coats were used for full opacity.

What Fools There Mortals Be is a glitter top coat inspired by Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare. Below I have one coat on the pinkie nail, two coats on the ring finger and three coats on the middle finger. I love wearing this alone as a three coater! So pretty!

Laters, Baby is clearly inspired by the 50 Shades of Grey by E.L. James saying and is a pearl graphite grey loaded with fine holo shimmer and sporadic silver glitter. Dark and complex, much like Christian Grey. Three coats were used for full opacity.

These polishes painted on so nicely and wore well. There are several in the Literary Lacquers shop that I have my eye on, and another order will definitely be coming soon!
