The MAC Greenluxe Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow is one of six new shadow palettes (see Pinkluxe and Smokeluxe) released this month by MAC. These sets are here to simplify your daily eye looks by housing five coordinating shades in one sleek compact.
What the MAC website says about Greenluxe Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow:
Five complementary shades that glide on and blend beautifully for infinite day-to-night looks: light peach, bright champagne with pearl, dark olive, blackened green with gold pearl and deep forest green with pearl. Matte to highly pearlized finish.
Greenluxe contains five shades, described by MAC as a light peach, bright champagne with pearl, dark olive, blackened green with gold pearl and deep forest green with pearl. The bright champagne with pearl is super shimmery and the flakes almost look thick on the eye. You have to be very careful about using too much of this one.
The shadows in this palette are soft and pigmented, almost reminding me of pressed pigments. They were all very easy to apply and blend. No creasing was apparent after a full day of wear over UDPP. While the color of these shades is already pretty great, you can make them even more vibrant by using them wet.
The only cons I can speak of is that on some of the strips it was a little hard to get my brush in. Also, I experienced a slight amount of fall out with the deep forest green shade, but it was all over my hand rather than on my cheeks.
For this EOTD I began with a thin layer of Urban Decay Primer Potion. The dark olive shade is all over the lid and up through the crease (also a bit under the eye). The bright champagne with pearl shade is at the inner corners of the eye and at the brow bone. The light peach shade is used to blend out the crease & highlight. The blackened green with gold pearl shade is in the outer V. I used the deep forest green with pearl shade at the outer V as well as over the top liner which is Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes 5L. The mascara is MAC Plushlash.

You look great in it but I’m glad I passed since it’s too sparkly for me. I was so close to buying it too.
