Beauty Inspiration: “The Julien Macdonald dress that Karen is wearing is so incredible on its own- I didn’t think the makeup should be a distraction or too literally “punk,” said NARS Director of Global Artistry James Boehmer on the look he created for Karen Elson. “The bonus is that she is wearing a septum ring- a nod to the punk era, so we chose a look that’s quite healthy and radiant, with a defined eye and a grape-stained lip.”
