Oh, so you didn’t see a Chanel quad at the counter when you hauled your Summer beauty? Never fear! The Chanel L’Ete Papillon de Chanel Collection does in fact have a quad! Metamorphose is available online at chanel.com and, you guessed it, it is limited edition.
What Chanel says about the Metamorphose Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eyeshadow:
One essential compact offers unlimited eye looks, with shade combinations that range from matte to satin to shimmer. Versatile smudge-proof formula can be applied dry for subtle shading, or dampened for more intense colour, all with long-wearing results — in even extreme climates. Dermatologist tested.
Metamorphose is a lovely combination of teal, baby blue, indigo and a yellow lime. Above I used the included sponge tipped applicators to swatch this quad dry with no primer or base. When used alone and dry the shades are very sheer, but when worn over a base (as shown below) or wet they become vibrant and alive. Dry, they’re a demure look that can be used every day, but when you work with them… look out. The eye becomes an in your face stunner.
As you can tell, Metamorphose has the round, baked eyeshadows, rather than the usual square pans that we see here in the USA.
For the EOTD look below I used the Chanel Jade Shore Stylo Eyeshadow as a base and put the yellow lime shade at the inner third of the eye. The teal is on the lid and blended up through and above the crease. The indigo shade is at the outer V and blended lightly into the teal shade in the crease. The baby blue shade is used to blend out the crease and highlight. The eye liner is Chanel Marine Le Crayon Kohl with the indigo shade blended over it and on the bottom is the NARS Barrow Street Larger Than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner. The mascara is Missha Signature Vibrating Mascara.
On Instagram I posted a shot of an eye look without the Stylo Eyeshadows and then with the Stylo Eyeshadows. Follow me for more sneak peeks 😉
Chanel Metamorphose Les 4 Ombres Quadra Eyeshadow retails for $59.00 and is available exclusively on chanel.com.

Thank you Anna! I used Tarte Timeless (Summer 2013 Aqualillies) and topped it with Le Metier de Beaute Papaye Cream
