For Summer 2013 MAC has released another round of Extra Dimension products, including six new Extra Dimension Eye Shadows – Opalesse, Triple Impact, Extra Silver, Zestful, Smoky Mauve and today’s post of Dimensional Blue.
What the MAC website says about Extra Dimension Eye Shadows:
A liquid-powder Eye Shadow with prismatic reflections in ten shimmering tints. Impact ranges from sheer crystallized light to a highly polished metallic effect. Lasts up to 6 hours.

Dimensional Blue (frosty blue) is a very icy light blue. These shadows run very frosty and I rarely wear them alone, and this girl is not scared of the frost 😉 The formula of the Extra Dimension Eye Shadows are nicely pigmented and easy to work with, no matter if you’re using them dry or wet.
For this EOTD I started off by blending MAC Eclair Pro Longwear Paint Pot all over the lid and through the crease. I began by applying Dimensional Blue at the inner corners and working my way out, so that the majority of the product remained at the inner part of the eye and faded as it went out. MAC Grain Eye Shadow was used as a highlight shade. The eye liner is CoverGirl Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner in Espresso and the mascara is CoverGirl Lash Blast Volume.

MAC Extra Dimension Eye Shadow retails for $21.00 and is available at MAC counters (try Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdales), MAC stores, as well as online at maccosmetics.com.
