A freaking amazing collection is about to launch from MAC tomorrow… a whole collection dedicated to Nudes & Metallics. But, there’s a catch, it’s at PRO stores and PRO online only. (If you don’t have access to a PRO store nearby or the site, never fear! You can call the PRO store and have items shipped to you! Link at the bottom of this post.)
From this collection, I have two shadows to share with you – Body Conscious (sheer warm mid-tone nude, satin) from Nudes and Brazenly (deep metallic purple, veluxe pearl) from Metallics ($15.00 USD).
Body Conscious is anything but sheer and nude. This is probably the most pigmented satin eye shadow I’ve ever seen in my life.
Brazenly is an attention grabbing, luminous eggplant also with amazing pigment.
Both Brazenly and Body Conscious worked extremely in terms of application and blending. The formula was impressive on both and they were amazing enough to have me lemming the rest of the shadows from this collection.
Though these shadows are on separate ends of the collection, they do work well together (see EOTD below) and I definitely think a call to a PRO store is in order.
In this EOTD I started out with a thin layer of Urban Decay Primer Potion. I applied Body Conscious all over the lid and through the crease and Brazenly through the crease and blending up quite a bit as well as in the outer V. I used a mix of MAC Grain and Benefit Watt’s Up to highlight. For the top liner I used MAC Black Karat Kohl Power, but didn’t like it so I traced over top with MAC Brazenly. MAC Powersurge Kohl was used on the bottom waterline. The mascara is MAC Extended Play Gigablack Lash.

The MAC PRO Nudes & Metallics Collection is available within North America April 18, 2013 at M·A·C Pro stores and Pro online only. If you’re not a MAC PRO Member you can call any Pro store and have the items shipped to you – click here to search store locations.
