Whoopsie! Super late with these two shades from Butter London! I picked them up during one of the buy one get one sales at Ulta awhile ago and just found them at the bottom of my swatch basket. I have still seen them locally and online, so I figured it’s worth it to show em off a bit, since they’re gorgeous and absolutely drool-worthy!
For Holiday 2012 Butter London released six glitter-ific polishes, two of which I have here to share with you! And, judging from the other swatches I’ve finally looked at, I’m going to need more!
Scuppered is has a copper base and is loaded with gold and fuchsia shimmer, as well as larger green glitter flakes. It’s really a gorgeous shade and the green flakes are what make it unique. The formula was a little thin, leaving the base color on the sheer side, so I used three coats for full opacity.
Jack the Lad
Jack the Lad has a deep forest green base with blue, green and gold shimmer, giving it a mossy effect. This formula was a little thin on this shade as well, so I did three coats for full opacity.
Did you pick up any of the Butter London Holiday 2012 polishes? Which ones are your faves?
Butter London Nail Lacquer retails for $15.00 and they are available at Sephora, Ulta, Macy’s, Nordstrom and butterlondon.com.

The Scuppered is very pretty! I just ordered Martha Stewart’s Chunky Glitter Set which has a rose/copper/gold glitter, i’m super excited to get it as i’ve been making my own glitter polishes to save money. There’s so much chunky glitter on the web to buy and i’m trying to get it all.
