Few things on this Earth make me happier than an awesome collaboration. When word hit of the MAC x Archie’s Girls Collection I was bouncing in my seat. How fun! Such a sordid love triangle between Archie, Betty and Veronica surely makes for fabulous makeup!
Each side of the launch, Betty and Veronica, has a limited edition Pearlmatte Face Powder. Betty has Flatter Me and Veronica has Veronica’s Blush, which is the product we’ll be focusing on for this post.
What the MAC website says about Archie’s Girls Pearlmatte Face Powder:
Love is in the details with all-new Pearlmatte Face Powder combining pearlized and satin shades to achieve an array of looks. Hearts are adorably stamped onto the base. Effortlessly blends with a rich and creamy texture. Use for highlighting and blush effects or as an Eye Shadow with a velvet-smooth finish. Limited-edition Archie’s Girls packaging.
Veronica’s Blush has a silvery pink base (Play It Proper Beauty Powder) with deep pink hearts (Frankly Scarlet Powder Blush). It’s quite hard to pick up any kind of real pigment from the deep pink hearts, since they’re so small, but when combined with the silvery pink shade it makes for a lovely and almost iridescent looking highlight. This will make a beautiful pairing with Prom Princess Powder Blush from the same collection.
For more information on this collection, please see the Official Press Release.
MAC Archie’s Girls Pearlmatte Face Powder retails for $30.00 and is available at your local MAC counter (try Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdales) or store as well as online at maccosmetics.com.
