Tide Pods Keep Your Fashion Fresh

February 19, 2013

The three-in-one chamber design of the Tide Pods with its nod to machine washable fashion and style totally makes me think of three-in-one style of fashion. Like how you can take a simple little black dress, appropriate for any season whether it be spring, summer, winter or fall, and wear it out for any occasion.  Below are some ideas:

Pictures

Unfortunately, with clothes, comes laundry.  While all fashion is unique and fun, laundry is simply not. Hauling loads upon loads of clothes to the laundry room, which, for most of us, is downstairs…separating, switching, folding, hauling back upstairs. Hoping nothing fades or shrinks…Ugh. In between all that, it’s expected for you to be a chemist and fill to the line, as well as add in liquid extras to clean, brighten and fight stains. Make sure you get the levels right, or you just wasted time and money.

Fortunately, Tide seriously just went and made life and laundry easier (and, I’m not gonna lie, kinda fun) with their powerful 3-in-1 detergent that does everything you need it to do (clean, brighten, fight stains), and on the correct level. Just one of these Tide Pods removes more stains than 6 caps of the liquid bargain brand (based on stain removal performance of one pac of Tide Pods vs. 6 doses of the leading liquid bargain brand base variant in a standard top loading machine) and is the ONLY 3-chamber unit dose on the market. Open the orange bag, toss in the pac, load up the washer and await a whole new kind of clean.  SIMPLE.

You only need one pac for most loads, but if you find yourself knee deep in heavily soiled laundry, two pacs are recommended.

 photo photo_zps9d55de2a.jpg
I had no issues with the pac dissolving in any temperature of water. The clothes all came out clean and smelling amazing (and I was really putting them to the test with some HEAVY loads!). It also made me feel good because there is so much less waste. I know I don’t measure liquid levels correctly. The Tide Pods take the guessing game out of laundry so you can get it right, every single time.

Remember to keep the pac out of reach of children, as there is quite a resemblance to candy and it looks rather scrumptious.

I must go with my jeans. Since I am pregnant and going in for my c-section Thursday, the choices are getting limited. I can wear them with loafers and a long sleeve t-shirt or dress them up with flats and a fitted sweater. Adding a necklace or scarf gives my outfit a different look as well.

I can wear them out to run errands during the weekend while wearing jeans, looking effortlessly stylish and put together despite the usual casualness of the weekend. And of course, I can wear them out somewhere nice, even for a night out, perfect with a little black dress! Of course, I could say all the same about my favorite red lipstick too!

My short length white wrap dress. Can be a dress, a tunic to go over leggings, flared/boot cut jeans, or over a pencil skirt. So versatile.

My awesome new grey khaki slacks provide great 3-in-1 style. I can wear them with a tee and tennis shoes for running errands or playing with my kids, a button-up shirt and cardigan when I go to school, or heels and a flirty blouse for a date with my fiance.

Definitely any of my tights for a 3-in-1. They’re appropriate to wear with a nice skirt to work, under a casual dress during the day, and with a nicer dress if we’re going out. Plus, they keep my legs warm(ish)!

Those Tide pods look pretty cool. I use pods for my dishwasher, I’ll have to see if I can find a coupon for these to try them when I run out of regular detergent. And another reason to keep them away from kids, I’m always so tempted to pop them like packaging bubbles!

For me it’s a classic button down white shirt, it goes with skirts, suits and instantly classes up my favorite jeans, it can be worn alone or layered under a cardi or jacket, that’s definitely 3-in-1 action right there! Second place would be Black Skinny Jeans as I can wear those with longer jackets for casual Friday at the office and then still rock them on the weekends too!

I have a black dress that I wear with a jacket, as is and with a belt. I change up the jewelry and shoes and it works for any situation.

I am not sure if my comment went through.

The most versatile I have is a dark blue tunic. I can wear with everyday jeans or over many colors of leggings. I can even get by with wearing as a short dress.

I have some black leggings that are very versatile. I can wear them with sandals and a sundress for a summer look, with UGG boots and a sweater during the winter, and with sneakers when I exercise.
