The MAC x Archie’s Girls Collection has had makeup and comic book lovers alike buzzing away about the hype as long as six months ago. The collection has finally released and I say it’s a winner!
Each side of the launch, Betty and Veronica, has a limited edition Powder Blush. Veronica has Prom Princess and Betty has Cream Soda, which is the product we’ll be focusing on for this post.
What the MAC website says about Betty Powder Blush:
Blush like Betty with the all-new shade Cream Soda, a light neutral coral for cheeks and face with a satin finish. In a special compact featuring Archie’s favourite Blonde-Next-Door. Limited edition.
6 g / 0.21 US oz
Cream Soda (light neutral coral) is a very lovely and natural looking peach blush. The finish is satin, which is my fave of all MAC Blushes because it’s not flat, but it’s not shimmery either. The pigment can be built up, but never looks over the top because of it’s subtle sheen.
For more information on this collection, please see the Official Press Release.
MAC Archie’s Girls Pearlmatte Face Powder retails for $22.00 and is available at your local MAC counter (try Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdales) or store as well as online at maccosmetics.com.

Hi Brook,
I wonder if your swatches are ‘heavy’ or did the blush show up this way at first swipe?
Thanks.
Brooke says
Hi Ra! The swatch is one finger swipe, but I did take my finger for a few spins around the blush pan before I lifted off to swatch. The blended out swatch was from one swipe.

Hi Brooke,
Do you find that this is similar to Mac’s Peaches blush? You swatches reminded me of it.
Thanks!
Brooke says
Peaches is a little deeper and the finishes are different. Peaches is a sheertone while Cream Soda is a satin. This is my review and swatch of Peaches. HTH!
Christina says
Ah, thank you!!

You’re welcome!
