Nicole by OPI crept into my house, took a peek at my DVR and created an entire 14 piece collection inspired by one of my favorite shows – Modern Family!!
What’s the Mitch-uation? is described as a cobalt blue. While this frosty shade is beautiful the formula was pretty thin. I used three coats for the swatch photo.
Candid Cameron
Candid Cameron is described as teal. It’s a lovely blue-green metallic. I actually expected this to have a little more duochrome to it based off of the color in the bottle (which is why I added several photos for this one). Two coats were used in the swatch photo.
Back in my Gloria Days
Back in my Gloria Days is described as a voluptuous violet. This has a purple base laced with fuchsia and purple shimmer. I used three coats in the swatch photo, but you could get away with two thicker coats.
A Like-Haley Story
A Like-Haley Story is described as fuchsia. I feel that it’s more of a fun, hot pink with subtle pink shimmer. This is one of my favorite shades of the collection in terms of color and also formula. Two coats were used in the photo.
Basking in Gloria
Basking in Gloria is described as red-violet. This is totally a loud and flashy fuchsia shimmer shade worthy of Gloria. I used two coats in the swatch photo above.
A Phil’s Paradise
A Phil’s Paradise is described as pewter. This is a gorgeous color, though the formula is a little thin. Above I used three coats and you can still see a bit of visible nail underneath.
Stand by Your Manny
Stand by Your Manny is described as a periwinkle blue. I thought the formula was a little thin, though the blue has a shimmer to it making the shade really beautiful. Three coats were used in the photo.
Alex by the Books
Alex by the Books is described as a seafoam green. This creamy polish painted on well and was easy to work with. Two coats were used in the photo.
Am I Making Myself Claire
Am I Making Myself Claire is described as lilac, but I see it more as a greige lilac cream. I can totally see Claire saying this. Actually, Claire DOES say this! The formula was smooth and efficient, much like Claire. Two coats were needed for full opacity.
Haley Good Lookin’
Haley Good Lookin’ is described as a pink super glitter. More specifically this has a clear base with small pink glitters and large hex holo glitter. It’s really fun and pretty, like Haley! One coat is shown over Am I Making Myself Claire.
I Do De-Claire!
I Do De-Claire! is described as a frosty soft rose. This metallic shade smoothed on well, and I could see Claire loving to use this shade for a pedi. I used two coats for the photo, but really one was enough!
She’s Lily Something
She’s Lily Something is described as pink with sparkly stars. While this is easily a beautiful polish it was a real pain to get the stars out. Even when I got them on the brush by the time I pulled the applicator out the star had slid off.
My Jay or the Highway!
My Jay of the Highway! is described as a trendy taupe. To me this is more of a grey cream with a slight hint of khaki. The shade brushed on well and wasn’t too thick or too thin. Two coats were used in the photo.
Luke of the Draw
Luke of the Draw is described a gunmetal glitter. This has a sheer black jelly base and is saturated with different sized silver round and hex glitters. I love all of the glitter, but think I’d love it more over an opaque black base coat. Three coats were used in the photo.
My must haves are Am I Making Myself Claire, Haley Good Lookin’ and A Like-Haley Story. Which ones are your faves?

I am obsessed with Luke of the Draw. Its easily the best glitter polish I’ve owned. The glitter is concentrated and looks gorgeous.

I had a star polish from the brand pieces, when I saw it the first time I was like I need to have it. But after getting it I was no , I don’t know how to work with it . I thought It was just me
Brooke says
The star glitters are just too dense so they sink and then run off the brush. =( I’d love to get a couple stars all over each nail. Someday! *crosses fingers*
