A new formula of tinted lip balm was made available with the January 2013 MAC Apres Chic Collection – of the Mineralize variety! Five limited edition shades of Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm were released in Stay Warm!, Slightly Nude, Nice & Simple and today’s post of Pure & Tender and Rosy Romance.
What the MAC website has to say about Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm:
A liquid lip balm that adds moisture while providing the right pop of color and mirror-like shine. Enriched with a special, nourishing 77 Mineral-Rich Complex. Can be worn alone or over other Lip products.
10 ml / .33 US fl oz
Pure & Tender (plumy creamy nude) I’m not sure how plum factors into this one in terms of color, because it’s totally nude. This one actually feels like it will be sticky as you apply, but once it’s on the lips it won’t feel that way.
Rosy Romance (bluish plum with subtle pink pearl) is a raspberry tint, you can hardly see the shimmer that is apparent in the tube. It’s an HG gloss for me, the perfect, natural and glossy flush of color for the lips!
The formula is very sheer with a tint of color. I didn’t find these to be sticky at all and they have a nice slip, making them look glossy and plump on the lips. This gloss feels moisturizing and comfortable. A win for me!
For more information on this collection, please see the Official Press Release.
MAC Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm retails for $19.50 and can be purchased at your local MAC counter (Nordstrom, Macy’s), store, or online at maccosmetics.com.
As soon as I read not sticky I knew I had to add these to my very long wants list:)
